Verify the robot performs as expected and meets competition goals.This phase validates performance, reliability, and compliance through structured testing and iteration.

System Testing

  • Test each mechanism individually (drive straightness, intake consistency, lift height).
  • Collect data for tuning PID or servo positions.

System Integration Testing

  • Run full robot operations under match-like conditions.
  • Observe battery performance, heat, and component strain.

Autonomous Testing

  • Tune trajectories using RoadRunner or similar.
  • Verify accuracy of start position, path following, and scoring reliability.

Driver Practice

  • Run practice matches to improve control and timing.
  • Gather driver feedback for ergonomic or control changes.

Iteration

  • Identify weak points or failure modes.
  • Redesign or adjust components as needed.
  • Update documentation with test results and improvements.
