About Us

We are a small group of passionate students from all around Calgary, dedicated to improving STEM education in our communities. we are a group of 4 students, based in Calgary, in grades 8 and 9. We were formed by 4 of our current members, who decided to name our team Cybertronic PenguinZ because of our shared love of penguins. Orginially, Cybertronic PenguinZ came from the FLL team, Cheez dEms, which gained valuable experience at the FLL World championship. After seeing how interesting FTC was at the World Championships, we decided to move up from FLL and attempt FTC as soon as we could. Today Cybertronic PenguinZ has grown into a team that includes members with a passion for robotic striving to push our boundaries while giving back to the communities we live in. Our dedication to FTC and STEM reflects our commitments to innovation, teamwork and continuous learning.
